Connor just finished up his swim lessons (he's a tadpole) and I think he did really well. He just loves the water so I got to remember to keep encouraging him to swim. He did really well kicking and blowing bubbles, all that cool stuff that tadpoles do. I'm wondering if we should role him into another swim class again this summer. Well we'll do some swimming on our own and make sure he continues his "big arms" and "big kicks".
Living in Phoenix, you get very used to the hot weather. 118 is warm, don't get me wrong. It is just that I'm not amazed by it. That said, a low of 92 degrees like the other night really gets my attention. It is cooling off here in the Valley of the Sun and I think we only hit 112 today (4 above the norm and a record for the day). Still here it is at about 10pm and it is still 104. Something about that heat island that you just can't escape.

Yea they aren't mine, that is for sure. At least he got the good parts from his mother. read more
